PGA Junior League Golf 2023

PGA  Junior League Golf is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls ages 13* and under to learn and enjoy the game of golf. Much like other recreational league sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with their friends. PGA Junior League Golf utilizes a popular scramble format that creates a nurturing environment for learning and development.
*cannot turn 14 prior to 8/1/23

Each team is captained by a PGA Professional, who serves as the coach and is at the forefront of creating a welcoming environment for all to enjoy the game. StonyCreek’s 3 teams are coached by our PGA Golf Professionals John Van Valer, Bill Van Valer, & Kevin Sopoci.

Nationally there are over 50,000 players on over 4000 teams and in Indiana there are over 100 teams. In 2019, StonyCreek expanded to 3 teams and The Sagamore Club did the same. Given that the two courses are across the street from one another, our league became the 6 teams on 166th street. In 2022 StonyCreek won it’s 2nd straight 166th Street Cup when the Creekers of StonyCreek won the league championship.

StonyCreek has 12 roster spots on each of our 3 teams, and returning players who have not aged out are guaranteed a spot. To get on the waitlist for team StonyCreek, email  John Van Valer.

Cost for 2023 is TBD and includes team jersey & hat, 6-7 practices and 5 matches. The schedule will be finalized as soon as possible. The season will start in late May and finish in mid-to-late July.
